Mohd Qhaleef Hayqal is a young boy age 15 months. He was admitted to Normah Specialist Centre on 13th July 2015 after being found unconscious by his parents. At first, the doctor told that he got a high fever. The parents have to paid the medical cost total RM4,889.00 for three days. This include RM600.00 service charge per day.
On 21st July 2015, the doctor inform to the parents that Qhaleef need fresh red blood O negative type (rhesus blood). It is a high risk for Qhaleef to receive blood transfer from adults as he is still young. Because the parents can't afford to buy three packets of blood which cost RM1,300, they were given option to give antibiotic to Qhaleef which cost RM38.00 per bottle.
As for now, the parents had bought three bottle of antibiotics which cost them RM114.00. However, that antibiotic is not the permanent cure as Qhaleef urgently need the fresh red blood.
They stay in Taman Dahlia Matang 5th Mile. First medical check-up, the doctor found that Qhaleef white blood level was 27%. Second medical check-up on 12th August 2015, Qhaleef white blood level is 26.7% which is still above normal level of 18%.
The mother came to me to seek for help via our DAP representative in Taman Dahlia Matang 5th Mile. If they failed to buy the red blood, Qhaleef will get leukemia.
