MIRI: More than 60 members of Parti Pesaka Bumiputra Bersatu (PBB) Youth Zone 9 and family members gathered for a heartfelt breaking of fast dinner held at Café Rosita, Dynasty Hotel Miri on Sunday.
The gathering was one of many activities organised by PBB Youth Zone 9 comprising Lambir, Bekenu, Marudi, Pujut, Piasau, Telang Usan and Senadin.
The programme included the ‘Singgah Sahur’ event held on July 11, which was attended by Lambir assemblyman Ripin Lamat, who is also PBB Sarawak deputy chief.
Ripin took the opportunity to personally distribute breaking of fast meals to police and hospital staff at Lutong Police Station, Miri Central Police Station, Tanjong Police Station, Bomba Miri and Miri Hospital.
PBB Youth also distributed popular local delicacies such as ‘bubur pedas’ to visitors at the Ramadan Bazaar held at the Miri Indoor Stadium.-Borneo Post
